We have much anticipation running through us as the weeks approach our baby's arrival. We are washing his laundary & getting more & more situated in the nursery. We've been working on Stella yet too. Some days she seems protective of Emily & others a little mopey with all the changes around the house. I'm sure this will continue for awhile.
Emily had her 32 week (8 month) appointment right before x-mas. They thought she was measuring 'small' so they wanted to take a peak. Emily was very excited for the Christmas present to see our son again! She got to see him yawn, play with his feet, & pray! So precious!
He's acutally measuring a little bigger than 'average', so he's just really crammed into her tummy. No wonder she has to go to the bathroom all the time.
Here's what Emily looked like when these pictures were taken. She is starting to look forward to fitting into more pants again soon...it's been slim pickin's.
Erik has been trying to learn all about our new camcorder (our Christmas present to each other). The basics he has down, now it's trying to decide how to capture & save all our precious moments with our son. With all the recent tragic fires, this has been on our minds how how we could preserve our memories...even if it's our computer that crashes not a fire.
It's been a fun adventure to watch each other's excitement grow for our BIG Day!
Tracy & Debbie through me a shower down in St. Peter. I ended up learning I have some more nursery rhymes to learn. I'm sure we'll both have them down soon. It was nice to hang out with everyone who could make it during the ice storm! There were a couple other new Mom's-to-be, so we had to take some pictures.
We'll folks the countdown is on now. Laundry is done, diapers are ready, & our bags are packed. Now we wait for the day he chooses to arrive. We are going to try and enjoy the 'easiness' of life until then. Going to see a movie, going out on a few dates, and watching movies all the way through -with the exception of a bathroom break!
